Chess-ish does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app is designed with privacy as a core principle.

Local Storage Only

The App stores only the following preferences locally on your device using AsyncStorage:

• Selected game mode preference (Classic, Shuffled, or Crazy)
• Selected opponent type preference (2-Player or Computer)
• Difficulty level preference (for computer games)
• Player color preference (for computer games)

All stored data is:

• Stored only on your device
• Not transmitted anywhere
• Not shared with third parties
• Can be cleared by uninstalling the App

What We Don't Do

Chess-ish does NOT:

• Collect personal information
• Require user accounts or authentication
• Use analytics or tracking
• Share data with third parties
• Make network requests for gameplay
• Identify or profile users
• Require internet connection for gameplay

Permissions

The App does not require any special permissions:

• No camera access
• No microphone access
• No location services
• No contacts access
• No network permissions required for gameplay
• No external storage access beyond standard app data

Offline Functionality

Chess-ish works completely offline. No internet connection is required for any gameplay features. All game logic and computer AI run entirely on your device.

Children's Privacy

Chess-ish does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any data, there is no risk of collecting data from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Your Rights

Since Chess-ish does not collect or store any personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. All game preferences stored locally on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the App.
